Celebrating 10 Years Of Reading As A Community!
This year’s Community Reads title is Beautiful Music by Michigan author, Michael Zadoorian. Set in early 1970s Detroit, a racially divided city still reeling from its violent riot of 1967, the story tells of one young man’s transformation through music. Copies of the book are available for check-out in the What’s New section on the 1st floor. There will also be a chance to meet the author! This community program is in partnership with the libraries of Lyon Township, Northville District, Salem-South Lyon District, Wixom and Walled Lake City.
