AAUW Let’s Read Math

Partnering with the American Association of University Women - Novi Northville Chapter. Second and third graders and their parent/guardian will together explore three books and math extension activities in concepts such as money, measurement, polygons, etc. Good literature and math will be combined in a very fun environment. At the end of the series, students will receive a free book with a math connection. Attendance at all three sessions is encouraged.

Raising a Reader – 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Novi Public Library and the Novi Community School District continue to partner in a year round preschool reading initiative supporting parents and caregivers in the goal of reading 1,000 books with their children before they enter kindergarten. It is never too early to begin developing enjoyable reading experiences with children and contribute toward their readiness to learn to read when they enter school. Summer is a great time to begin or continue reading toward the goal of 1,000 books! MSU Tollgate Farm Children’s Garden Story Hour

Preschoolers will enjoy a story time and participate in engaging activities; such as process-based art, moving to music, or a game.
