Lunch Bunch Book Club

The Library has moved to virtual programming through August 31. This free program will be held via Zoom. Details about how to connect will be emailed two days prior to the program to registered attendees.
 
Join our Lunch Bunch Book Club for grades 2-3 to discover and discuss new books and answer trivia questions based on what you read. Trivia and discussion questions will come directly from the book's plot, characters, and setting. Note that guests must read the selected book prior to the program. Chess Summer Boot Camp

This program will include playing games, lectures, games analysis and other components of chess training. The class will cover topics like game strategies (opening, middle, and endgame), board visualization/chess notation, and chess tactics such as pins and double attacks. The objective of the program is to give students the opportunity to not only have fun playing chess and compete in a friendly environment, but also to learn something new to improve their game. 
 
Each student must provide his or her own chess set and clock**
