Druschel Collection/Senior Book Club
The Druschel Collection is named in honor of Pauline Druschel, who retired as Assistant Director of the Novi Public Library in November 2003. As part of her mission to provide an opportunity to improve the quality of life for her community, Pauline facilitates a senior book discussion group whose selections are distinguished by their breadth and depth. Funded by her friends to honor her retirement, this collection is comprised of many of the books explored by her book discussion group.
The Druschel Collection will be shared by generations of readers to come. It is a visual symbol of Pauline’s love of libraries, and the respect of her community, and the profound power of books to enrich our lives.
