2020 Battle of the Books

After careful consideration, it is with much sadness that we announce that the Novi Public Library has decided not to reschedule the 2020 Battle of the Books program. Given the amount of uncertainty that we are currently facing, along with scheduling and the technology that is required to make the program a success, we believe that this is an unfortunate, but necessary decision. Thank you for all your hard work and we hope you enjoyed this year’s titles. We look forward to the return of the Battle of the Books in 2021!

Although this year's teams did not get to participate in the final Battle, they did spend months reading all of the titles and creating great team costumes. We are all very proud of them. Below please find some of our student participants and the parent/teacher coaches that led the way and kept them on track.

We thank the Friends of the Novi Public Library for their generosity in supporting this program, the City of Novi's Parks and Recreation Department for the space, our teen volunteers, and Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza for coupons towards free pizzas for the participants.
