Teen Volunteer Program
The Novi Public Library is excited to learn of your interest in serving as a teen volunteer. The Teen Volunteer Program is committed to encouraging community engagement to enhance library programs and services.
Teen Volunteer Handbook
Whether you are a current teen volunteer or interested in learning about how you can make a positive difference at the library, our Teen Volunteer Handbook is a great resource to answer your questions.
Age Requirements
Teen volunteers must be between 14-17 years of age. 18+ years of age should apply to be an adult volunteer.
Application Process
To apply to become a Teen Volunteer, please visit the second floor kiosk at the Novi Public Library to obtain a Teen Volunteer Information Packet. The packet contains a background screening consent form and work permit. Both of these forms must be on file and approved before volunteering can begin.
The library accepts teen volunteers year round. We accept teens who are Novi residents and from other surrounding cities.
